घर सांभाळून, धाकट्या भावंडांना सांभाळून 12वी मधे 81% मिळवणारी "राजश्री शिरसाड"!!
आपलं मुलं 10 कींवा 12वीत गेलं की आपल्या घरचं वातावरणच बदलून जातं. घरातला TV बंद, कोणी त्या मुलांना काम सांगत नाही, परिक्षेपूर्वी आई बाबांची रजा, दररोज त्याला खायला ताजं आणि चवीचं रुचकर जेवण, सेंटर वर आणायला सोडायला आपली गाडी!!

"राजश्री हि आमची अशी एक अत्यंत होतकरू आणि मनस्वी मुलगी! राजश्री ला आई नाही. वडिलांचा 4 वर्षांपूर्वी अपघात झाल्याने ते काम करु शकत नाहीत, घरीच असतात. घरात राजश्री पेक्षा लहान दोन भावंडं आहेत. एक भाऊ आत्ता 12 वी मधे गेला तर धाकटा भाऊ नववीत आहे.
राजश्री घरातलं काम करुन, वडलांची देखभाल करुन, भावंडांची काळजी घेऊन शिवाय एका Physiotherapist कडे व्यायाम घेण्याचे काम करते. तिला महिना काही पैसे मिळतात.
अशा आमच्या राजश्री ने 81% मार्क मिळवून केवळ यश संपादन केलं नाही तर आमच्या सारख्या अनेकांच्या डोळ्यात झणझणीत अंजन घातलं आहे. कोरोना नी उद्भवलेल्या लाॅकडाउन मधे कंपन्याचे उद्योग मंदावले. कीत्येकांच्या नोकर्या गेल्या, घरातले कमावते हात बंद झाले.एकीकडे वाढणारा कोरोना चा प्रादुर्भाव तर दुसरीकडे स्वतःला आणि कुटुंबाला यातून बाहेर काढण्यासाठी चाललेली जगण्याची लढाई! या सगळ्यातून शिकायची जिद्द, मोठं होण्याची जिद्द मनात कायम ठेवायची, जे मिळेल ते काम करत रहायचं, स्वतःची सकारात्मकता जिवंत ठेवायची आणि उद्याच्या आशेवर, आजचा दिवशी "This too shall pass... म्हणतं काम करत रहायचं!
अत्यंत प्रतिकूल परिस्थितीत वाढलेल्या आमच्या मुलांनी आजवरची लढाई मोठ्या जोमाने लढली आहे. आजही लढत आहेत. लाॅकडाउन मधे जे मिळेल ते काम करणारा पुष्कर सागडे, संध्याकाळचं काम करुन दिवसभर नर्सिंग चा कोर्स करणारा परशूराम, फीटनेस सेंटर मधे झुंबा शिकवणारी आणि काॅलेज मधे शिकणारी आरती. झोपडपट्टीत छोट्याश्या घरात राहणारा पण CA होण्याची स्वप्ने बघणारा आणि त्याकरता अविरत अभ्यास करणारा ओंकार, पोलीस भरती साठी प्रयत्न करणारा अनिकेत, इंजिनिअरिंग करता करता पेपर ची आणि दुधाची लाईन टाकणारा संतोष, अगरबत्ती आणि पुजा साहीत्य घरोघरी विकून घरखर्चाला हातभार लावणारा अनिकेत भगत, CA इंटर च्या परीक्षेत अप्रतिम मार्क मिळवून पास होणारा रोहीत चव्हाण, LLM होउन ज्युडिशियल परीक्षा देणारा आणि सरकारी नोकरीतल्या संधीची चातका सारखी वाट बघणारा संकेत… अंकिता, प्राजक्ता.. अशी कीती नावं सांगावित! अप्रतिम मार्क मिळून सुध्दा एका संधीची, उद्याच्या सोनेरी दिवसांची वाट बघणारी आमची अनेक मुलं मुली! सतत धडपडणारी आणि स्वतःच्या पायावर उभी राहायचा प्रयत्न करणारी.
ह्यांना गरज आहे ती त्यांच्या पाठीवरच्या आश्वासक हातांची, "You can do it"! हा विश्वास देण्याची. तु लढ, आम्ही तुझ्या पाठीशी उभे आहोत असं भक्कम पणे सांगायची.

सक्षम मी! आत्मनिर्भर मी! जेव्हा लाॅकडाउन च्या पार्श्वभूमीवर, हजारो गरजुंना शिधा सामुग्री आणि आर्थिक मदत करायला लागत आहे त्याचवेळी काही जणं अशीही आहेत की अत्यंत प्रतिकूल परिस्थितीत सुध्दा खंबीरपणे तोंड देत आहेत! कोणाकडेही हात न पसरता स्वतःच्या हिमतीवर, कौशल्यावर आत्मनिर्भर होण्याची वाटचाल करत आहेत. आज आमच्या अशाच एका मुलीचा प्रवास तुमच्या बरोबर शेअर करायला मला आवडेल!
आरती काचवे! आमची मेंटी, अतिशय प्रतिकूल परिस्थितीत शालेय शिक्षण पूर्ण केले. वडील ड्रायव्हर तर आई घरकाम करणारी. काॅमर्स ला अॅडमिशन घेतली खरी पण मनापासून आवड तिला न्रृत्याची! लहानपणात पासून शाळेतून वेगवेगळ्या कार्यक्रमात बक्षिसे मिळालेली. पण घरातल्यांचा विरोध! नाचून काय मिळवणार आहेस?! खरं आहे. अहो गरीब घरांमधे ही हौस कशी परवडेल. त्यामुळे इच्छा असूनही आरतीला क्लास लावता आला नाही. पण म्हणतात ना, तुमची इच्छाशक्ती प्रखर असेल तर देव तुमच्या पाठीशी उभा राहतो. आरतीच्याही मागे तो उभा राहिलाच! तीच्या मेंटाॅर च्या, मंजिरी लघाटे च्या रुपात!
मेंटाॅरींग च्या सेशन्स मधे आरतीची न्रृत्याची आवड लक्षात आल्यावर ,मंजिरी ने तीला ईशा कुलकर्णी या कथ्थक गुरुंना भेटवले. गेली तीन वर्षे आरती त्यांच्या कडे कथ्थक शिकत आहे.
एकीकडे बी.काॅम करताना आरती कथ्थक बरोबर झुंबा पण शिकली आहे. स्वतःच्या पायावर उभी राहण्या करता ती अभ्यासा बरोबरीने "Healthy Living Club" मधे झुंबा ट्रेनर म्हणून काम करत आहे. आपली आवड जोपासतानाच ती स्वतःच्या पायावर खंबीरपणे उभी राहायची धडपड करत आहे.
तिच्याच शब्दात सांगायचं तर, "
" Now I train people in dancing. And I have a dream of having my own zumba classes one day! I just want to say, from being a shy girl who's afraid of following her passion for dancing and today being a dance trainer, the journey has been so beautiful. It is said that "The journey is more beautiful that the destination." I have learnt so many things .It helped me to become a good person. I have learnt some important ethics of life in this journey.
Now I have given a promise to my work that I'll give my 100% to it . I'll make sure that everyone is enjoying my coaching . I will try to make their life healthy. I will make sure to make them aware about, How important is to exercise and dancing for a healthy life. काल गोळवलकर शाळेत सार्थक तर्फे वर्षभर घेतल्या गेलेल्या कार्यक्रमाचा समारोप झाला. रश्मी, करुणा आणि अर्चना या आमच्या टीम मधील तिघींनी आठवी बरोबर 24 सेशन्स चा 'बहर' हा कार्यक्रम राबवला होता. काल सांगता समारंभाला मला जाण्याचा योग आला. अतिशय नेटक्या पद्धतीने साजरा करण्यात आलेल्या ह्या समारंभाला मुख्याध्यापिका लीना तलाठी, प्राथमिक च्या मुख्याध्यापिका मंजुषा ताई, कांबळे सर , आठवी मधील मुले आणि त्यांचे पालक उपस्थित होते.
बऱ्याच मुलांनी त्यांचे अनुभव कथन केले, दोघांनी स्वरचित कविता म्हटल्या. तलाठी मॅडम नी सुध्दा मुलांना याचा खूप फायदा होतो आहे आणि भविष्यातही हा प्रकल्प असाच सुरु ठेवण्याची आपल्याला विनंती केली.पालकांनीही त्यांचे विचार आणि अनुभव शेअर केले.एकूणातच आपल्या टीमने वर्षभर केलेल्या कामाची काल पावती मिळाली. शाळेला या अशा प्रोग्रामची वाटणारी गरज, आत्मीयता, मुलांबद्दल असणारी तळमळ ही खूप मोठी जमेची बाजू आहे.शिवाय आमच्या टीमनेही मुलांबरोबर भरपूर काम केलेले आहे,याचाही वेळोवेळी प्रत्यय येत होता.

या session मध्ये खालील विषय घेण्यात आले.
Ice breaking & rapport building Understanding self Self-Confidence Self-worth Self-respect& SWOT Analysis व त्यानंतर प्रत्येक विद्यार्थिनीसोबत Individual counseling करण्यात आले.

WHY First Aid ????
It teaches individuals how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders, strategies to help those in crisis and non-crisis situations and resources that could be helpful.It is provision of non-intrusive care to help an individual calm down by listening to them, attending to their basic needs and connecting them with appropriate information and services. "सार्थक वेलफेअर फाउंडेशन" व "कल्याणी टेक्नोफोर्ज लि." यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने सुरु असणाऱ्या "प्रोजेक्ट विद्या" मध्ये निवड केल्या गेलेल्या जेजुरी - सासवड व आजुबाजुच्या ग्रामीण भागातील मुलींसाठीचे सत्र जेजुरी इंडस्ट्रियल मेन्यूफ्रॅक्चरस असोसिएशनच्या (JIMA) हॉल मध्ये काल दिनांक 10 नोव्हेंबर रोजी सकाळी 11 ते सायंकाळी 5 या वेळेत घेण्यात आले. या session मध्ये खालील विषय घेण्यात आले. Ice breaking & rapport building Understanding self Self-Confidence Self-worth Self-respect& SWOT Analysis व त्यानंतर प्रत्येक विद्यार्थिनीसोबत Individual counseling करण्यात आले.

सार्थक वेलफेअर फाउंडेशन व ADVIK Hi-Tech. Ltd. यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने ITI's साठी 100 तासांचा Skill Development Program. Advik च्या Chakan येथील Plant मध्ये Orientation Session घेण्यात आला. यामध्ये Advik च्या उत्साही कर्मचाऱ्यांसोबत टीम-सार्थक. हे कर्मचारी ITI मधील मुलांसोबत वर्षभर काम करणार आहेत व आपल्यामधील Skills व ज्ञानाचा उपयोग या मुलांकरीता करणार आहेत.

First Aid in Mental Health: As we celebrate another "World Mental Health Day" today, we are reminded of the progress made so far and of the work yet to be done!
Even today we find that there is widespread stigma, lack of access and awareness about mental health. Mental Health is more than just about mental illness. It is about understanding that any of us can be susceptible to psychological distress and at such a time first aid can truly be helpful to understand what is going on, give reassurance to the individual in distress and encourage and enable them to seek appropriate help. Physical first-aid is widely accepted and commonly used. However, when it comes to mental health, immediate assistance/support is not easily available – this is where first aid in mental health comes in. It teaches individuals how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders, strategies to help those in crisis and non-crisis situations and resources that could be helpful. So, just as CPR helps assist an individual having a heart attack, first aid in mental health helps assist an individual who is developing or experiencing a worsening of a mental health problem and those suffering the effects of crisis situations.
It is important to note that this type of aid is not psychological counselling provided by a professional, but immediate help given by anyone with the training. It is not psychological debriefing involving a detailed discussion or analysis of the distressing event. Rather, provision of non-intrusive care to help an individual calm down by listening to them, attending to their basic needs and connecting them with appropriate information and services.
Training in first aid for mental health helps create awareness and understanding of common mental illnesses, distress situations and generates understanding among the public, which can help reduce feelings of fear and stigma related to mental health. Moreover, it helps answer questions like “What is happening”, “What can I do?” and “Where can someone find help?”, which allows anyone with the appropriate training to be prepared to provide immediate support to fellow humans in need.
To create awareness regarding this Sarthak Welfare Foundation in association with Poona Citizens- Doctors Forum (PCDF) present a session on "First Aid in Mental Health with Dr Shirisha Sathe and Dr. Kaustubh Joag with a keynote address by Dr.Ulhas Luktuke

सार्थक च्या मेन्टॉरिंग प्रकल्पालाची सुरवात करताना आमच्या मनात केवळ एकच प्रमुख भावना होती, आणि ती म्हणजे आमच्या मुलांचा शैक्षणिक उत्क्रर्ष आणि त्यांचा भविष्यकाळ. तरी देखील ,केवळ शैक्षणिक मदत आणि शिष्यवृत्ती देणं , एव्हढ्या वरती आम्हाला थांबायचं नव्हत, तर त्यांचा व्यक्तिमत्व विकास व्हावा ह्यासाठी म्हणून काय काय करता येईल ह्याचा आम्ही सतत पाठपुरावा घेत होतो. त्याच प्रमाणे आम्ही सुरवाती पासूनच वेगवेगळे कार्यक्रम सुरु केले.
त्यामध्ये , या वर्षी आपण " Communication - संवाद workshop taken by Roshani, Emotional Management अँड Stress Management – Jeevan & Pushkar , Perception and thought process and expression - ह्या करता Drama based वोर्कशॉप्स- Bhaktiprasad Deshmane, ,भारतीय सैन्य दलाची माहिती व्हावी म्हणून NDA visit arranged by Col. Naphad sir , आर्ट आणि आर्ट फॉर्म ह्या करता श्री.बावणे ह्याच्या आर्ट स्टुडिओ ला भेट दिली , माती काम, शिल्पा कला, व श्री बावणे ह्यांच्याशी त्यांच्या प्रवास बद्दल दिलखुलास गप्पा असा एक उपक्रम झाला, उन्हाळी सुट्टी आणि दिवाळी सुट्टी ह्या दोन्ही सुट्ट्यामध्ये शिबीर झाली. त्यात विविध स्पर्धा , गाणी,गप्पा,खेळ असे कर्यक्रम झाले. वेगवेगळ्या विषयावर विडिओ क्लिप्स दाखवून त्यानंतर त्यावर मुलांचा परिसंवाद झाला.
पण त्याच बरोबर आम्हा मेंटॉर्स बरोबर पुष्कर दादाने वर्षभर उपक्रम घेतले. New Mentors Orientation, दर महिन्याला सर्व मेंटॉर्स भेटत होते, वेगवेगळ्या विषयांवर चर्चा होत होत्या. अनुभवांची देवाण घेवाण,प्रत्येकाच्या धारणा, विचारांची पद्धत वेगळी होती. सर्व मेंटॉर्स ना एका पातळीवर घेऊन येणं. आपल्या उपक्रमाचं उद्दिष्ट्य ठरवण, इतकेच नाही तर स्वतः मध्ये बदल घडवून आणण्या करता प्रयत्न , चांगल्या वाईट अनुभवाच sharing, आणि त्यामधून बरच काही समजल, शिकता आल.
हे करता करता ह्या दोन वर्षात असा लक्षात आल कि आमच्या सगळ्यांच एक कुटुंब म्हणून खूप छान नातं तयार व्हायला लागला आहे..
हे काही फक्त मेंटॉर - मँटी अस नातं नाही, सक्खा म्हणाव तर, रक्ताचं नातं नाही, गुरु- शिष्य म्हणण्या इतकं आम्ही एकमेकांना शिकत किंवा शिकवत नाही, ह्या नात्यात मेंटॉर्स मोठे म्हणून मोठेपणाचा अधिकार नाही, आणि म्हणून अनुभवातून आलेला आग्रहिपण नाही, ह्या नात्यात प्रेम असल तरी हक्क नाही, कर्तव्य आहे पण अपेक्षा नाहीत, आणि चूक झाली म्हणून शिक्षा नाही!!! खरं म्हणजे हे नातं आहे माणुसकीचं आणि विश्वास, प्रेम आणि आपुलकीच,साथ साथ चालताना,नकळत झालेल्या sharing च, सुख दुःख;समजून घेताना, मनापासून केलेल्या caring च,आनंदाच, समाधानाचं ,दुसऱ्या च्या यश उत्कर्षात वाटणाऱ्या अभिमानच!! हे नातं आहे मैत्रत्वाच!! आज नात्याला एक सुंदर नाव दिला आहे आपण " सार्थक मैत्र"

A mentor is someone who, Understands the student better than anybody else. Accepts unconditionally and has non-judgmental attitude. Does not giving up on the student despite repeated failures.

It’s a beautiful journey for both. A great learning process and meaningful partnership that has elements of love and detachment both. That's what SARTHAK believes and have adopted 25 students under this mentoring program for next 5 years. And our team of passionate, dedicated, mentors who will support them throughout this journey.Thank you Mentors for being part of this wonderful journey and thank you Pushkar for being an excellent mentor and guide and giving us the insight of about mentoring process.

The lasting effects that major physical illnesses often have on the psychological wellbeing of a person are often ignored as are the physical symptoms of mental distress. Mental and physical health are not only parallel, they are highly interlinked and affect each other in more ways than we can imagine.

The picture of physical health has always been clearer, as most times, bodies in distress show overt signs, but the reasons behind the distress have a wide range, from purely biological to psychological and even mixed. For example, a person suffering from anxiety and depression will often show loss in appetite, lack of sleep, unhealthy weight loss or sudden weight gain, restlessness and even clinical symptoms such as headaches, stomach aches and chest pain. It works the other way around too. People suffering from a chronic physical illness like cardiovascular disease, cancer and pulmonary diseases are more likely to face psychological distress.

Experts have found depression and chronic illnesses to have a reciprocal relationship. Typically, the health professional treating the patient will focus on the apparent physical disease, but may miss the depressive symptoms accompanying it. However, untreated depression not only affects the patient’s quality of life, but may also exacerbate the existing physical problem.

At Sarthak Welfare Foundation, we attempt to bridge the gap between physical and mental health by creating awareness and by extending a helping hand towards those suffering from mental and physical illness. We aim to make people more aware of their psychological wellbeing whilst promoting physical wellness and also to help people cope with chronic illness, physical disabilities and other physiological barriers by effectively learning to manage the psychological causes and effects of physical problems.

Through workshops, awareness programmes and personal counselling, we aim to help people strike the right balance and to enhance overall wellbeing.

Career is combination of Ability or Aptitude +Orientation +Passion + Usefulness to society +Happiness SARTHAK Career counselling team is conducting an awareness about this Career Journey with students and parents as well. An excellent work by our team with Palkar School, Nagarkar Prashala, Mahesh Vidyalay,Golwilkar School.

Health Checkups and health awareness workshop is one of the focus of Sarthak! Specially in the semi -rural areas like Mulshi- Mawal ! In health awareness programs we mainly address the importance of basic healthy-hygiene, Physical -mental- emotional changes in our body while growing up and importance of good food habits.

Sundar Mi Honar! Program designed specially to address very sensetive issues like good touch, bad touch, accepting the changes in our body in the growing up years, understanding sexuality and difference between Friendship- Attraction & Love! Our counsellors conducting the workshop for 8th std girls students of Hujur Paga. We are planing to conduct such workshops with various schools now.
