Sarthak Welfare Foundation

Sarthak Welfare Foundation is a company (not for profit) incorporated under section 8 of company act, is also a forum of 40 and more experts and dedicated volunteers passionately driven towards the cause. Team includes Teachers, Counsellors, Doctors, Psychologist, Social Workers, along with various experts from different sectors. This amalgamation of various professionals contributes in the growth of SARTHAK.

Our Vision

SARTHAK’s aim is to bring in the qualitative, positive, sustainable changes in the structure and framework of society, that help the society to better realize aims and objectives.

We believe that “Development is a process of social change, not merely a set of policies and programs instituted for some specific results. Development can apply to economic, political, social, and technological progress.”

"Development” which also means the outer realization of latent inner potentials, in the sense that human beings, not material factors, drive development. The energy and aspiration of people who seek development forms the motive force that drives development.

In every society, process of social change includes “Policy level change and change in the mentality-attitude-thought process of all stakeholders in the of society. Both the changes are essential for positive development. Policy level change is faster and widespread while change in the social behaviour and mentality is comparatively very slow, steady, but sustainable process. Sarthak is focused on qualitative behavioural social change.

We firmly believe that people'sawareness may decide the direction of development. Their efficiency, productivity, creativity, and organizational capacities determine the level of people’s accomplishment and enjoyment. The level of people's education, intensity of their aspiration and energies, quality of their attitudes and values, skills and information all affect the extent and pace of development. These factors come into play whether it is the development of the individual, family, community, nation, or the whole world. At Sarthak, we would like to focus our efforts in creating awareness, and change in people’s perspective and thought process.

Sarthak Team Members

Sarthak is an amalgamation of 40 and more volunteers who are actively participating in day to day welfare activities and are implementing our ideas and thoughts with various schools and community. They come from various fields and are getting their expertise and immense experience to the table. All are devoted and passionate about positive change. We also have 15 mentors who relate to 25mentees that we have adopted for education. There are Teachers, Doctors, Advocates, Engineers, Psychologist, Counsellors, bankers and artist, journalist and social workers. All the members are currently working as members of various teams such as Education- Helath- Mental Health- Career- Bachat Gat – Skill Development.
